Job Function Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a large software system that automatically builds, verifies, and releases Linux based operating systems on Qualcomms hardware products. Gathers requirements from internal and external customers and uses them to set design direction for the automation system. Uses Unix Shell, Perl, Python, and Electric Clouds Electric Commander to load and run embedded software on Qualcomm hardware and provide integrated data flow among Qualcomms enterprise software systems. Supports the automation system by debugging on embedded targets and within Qualcomms enterprise software systems.

Skills/Experience Requirements

3-5 years experience developing automation or test software in bash, Perl, and Python
3-5 years experience working within a continuous integration development model
Experience with embedded SOC hardware
Experience with embedded Linux systems

Preferences

Proficiency with Electric Clouds Electric Commander product

Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
