Job Function Develop software test cases to characterize and debug custom QCT microprocessors. Work with industry standard debug tools and standards to root cause microprocessor anomalies. Create test cases to explore and investigate the operating envelope of microprocessors. Work with design and software teams to create concise test cases that sensitize failing behavior in microprocessor.

Isolate customer application failures to basic processor operations and sequences.

Responsibilities Experience with Cadence and Synopsys tools a plus. Excellent verbal and written communications with ability to work in a team environment.
Skills/Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience with microprocessor test and debug is required.
Experience writing test cases for custom microprocessors is preferred.
Preferred programming skills: assembly level, Perl, C, Unix scripting

Required Skills

Expert programming skills with Perl or C/C++
Expertise with assembly level coding

Education Requirements *LI-SRC" id="hdnEducationalRequirements" />MSEE or MSCE required, focus on CPU Architecture and VLSI design
