Our ASIC teams are developing advanced Multimedia technologies to enhance mobile devices in areas including audio, 2D/3D graphics and video displays. These Multimedia ASICS are co-designed with our RF, analog and mixed-signal ICs to deliver a highly-integrated, high-performance and low-cost chipsets to our customers and partners.

    The successful candidate will join our 3D Graphics team and participate in the specification and design of hardware blocks used in Graphics Processors that will be integrated into a broad range of 3G and 4G devices.

    Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and verification of hardware blocks for leading edge low power 3D Graphics Processors.

    Skills/Experience

    • 2+ years of experience in the architecture, design, and verification of ASICs for volume production.

  • Experience should include Verilog/VHDL design, Synopsys synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, low power design, test plan development, coverage-based design verification, and/or design-for-test (DFT).
    • Previous experience in the design and verification of Multimedia and Graphics blocks is a big plus.

  • Knowledge of Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, C/C++ programming languages is desired.
  • Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
    Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering
