Safety Health and Environmental Coordinator
Job Summary
Provide broad support within the Safety Health and Environmental function through excellence in best safety, health and environmental work practices and pertinent Local, State and Federal Regulations.
Essential Functions
' Safety Committee
' PTC Site-Based safety internal audits
' Safety Orientations for New Employees
' Safety Orientation for Contractors
' Creation and facilitation of Safety Promotions
' Supervision of Plant Hearing Conservation and Annual Audiometric testing programs
' Supervision Of Accident Investigation And Reporting
' Maintaining and updating of Safety Operating Standards
' Facilitation Of Emergency Action Plan
Additional Responsibilities
' Must have a basic working knowledge of OSHA and EPA Standards and their requirements.
' Support SHE function in all areas of the site.
' Develop working relationships with all areas of the organization.
' Additional duties as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, And Knowledge)
' Must have obtained a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health or similar degree
' 2-5 years of relevant work experience in safety or environmental field.
' Good sense of business/technical interrelationships
' Good communication and interpersonal skills
' Must be able to manage multiple projects/priorities
' Good organizational skills
' Computer literacy
Specialized Knowledge/Skills Prefered But Not Required
' Manufacturing experience within a production facility.
' Pet or animal handling skills
