Responsibilities

We are seeking a Customer Service Rep to develop meaningful relationship with customers at our client site. This individual will be responsible for receiving, entering, and monitoring customer orders along with the following:

  • Providing new product information to encourage sales (soft sales)
  • Client follow up via phone and written
  • Follow up with pricing, credit, transportation, distribution center departments and production planning
  • Identify and maintain customer's accounts and requirements within systems
  • Administer customer complaints, returns, and credits
  • Accounts Receivable : short pays / open invoices
  • Monitor, investigate, provide solutions to customer/company
  • Filing as needed

  • Requirements

  • A business related college degree and/or 2 years experience in a manufacturing customer service environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self starter, self motivator
  • Sales oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Working experience in SAP or other ERP systems
