MortgageEducation.com is a leading online provider of Pre-Licensure and Continuing education for Mortgage Professionals. Out of over 150 education providers, we are 1 of only 2 who have nationwide online presence, allowing us to compete for providing services to the largest companies in the industry.

Our product is required for any mortgage broker or loan officer to obtain a license and enter the industry as well as to renew their license each year. This means that every call is, to a certain extent, a "warm" sale. We are small from an employee standpoint (3 sales representatives and myself), though we contract a number of people for instruction, programming, operations and content development (another 12-15 people).

  • Market opportunities from providers who left the industry or have changed strategy because they only sell one product.
  • Our completion of developing a nationwide product; specifically, there are 17 states that have state-specific education. A provider who can supply the education for these states as well as the basic required education for all states can provide a unique offering for large companies.

  • Commission: 15%
  • Bonus: balances out total commission to approximately 30-35% of sales

  • You must be able to work from home - if you doubt this, then you will have a high likelihood of failure. You must be able to create a space of your own with a desk and quiet away from distractions. You must also be able to set a routine you can follow.
  • Relationship sales and service technique and outstanding phone and email communication skills. Our culture is based around nurturing leads and not haggling for one-time sales. You will need to create strong relationships to ensure repeat sales.
  • Commitment. Repeat business is the nature of this industry and building a base of customers for the first year or two is the key to your success. Conservatively, you will retain 50%+ of your initial year's sales.
