Senior Loan Administrator
Our client is a community bank serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area with a focus on the lending needs of small business owners. Our client has an immediate opening for a Senior Loan Administrator. The mission of a Senior-level Loan Administrator is to work directly with the Vice President of Loan Administration to pre-close, analyze, originate, document, and monitor loans of area commercial organizations. Additionally, the Administrator will devote a portion of his/her time to work directly with the upper management in providing various reports and tracking information as needed.
Responsibilities
A Successful Senior Loan Administrator Will
- Communicate and coordinate with title and insurance companies to ensure all condition and requirements of loan are met
- Act as a liaison between commercial lenders and loan processors in handling pre-closing up to closing and funding
- Review preliminary appraisals, title reports, title policies, flood certifications, etc. to determine possible issues, and validate loan approval requirements
- Validate loan documents prepared by outside counsel for accuracy
- Submit completed file to processors for booking and funding, monitoring and overseeing the closing process
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from a 4-year, accredited institution
- 2 - 4 years experience in a Commercial Loan Documentation role
- Highly motivated business professional, able to thrive in small-team environment
- Knowledge of SBA loans and reviewing of legal documentation is preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
