DIRECTOR of SOCIAL SERVICES- Brooklyn, NY Job Description: This supervisory position provides administrative and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary clinical staff assigned to a treatment team. In addition, this position is responsible for managing and monitoring day-to-day clinical operations and service delivery and participates in activities to monitor the quality and appropriateness of program services. The Director of Social Services coordinates clinical coverage for the facility, provides on-call administration as needed and manages facility or clinical emergencies. Director of Social Services Required Education & Qualifications: A graduate degree in a clinical discipline and one year clinical substance abuse experience and an appropriate qualified healthcare credential (CSW, CASAC, RN, LPN, CRC, etc.), OR Bachelors Degree in a clinical discipline and two years professional chemical dependence experience in a clinical capacity and an appropriate qualified healthcare credential (CASAC), OR High School Diploma or equivalent and three years of chemical dependency treatment experience. Qualified health care credential (CASAC) preferred AND At least three years of supervisory experience.
