Exciting opportunity for an experienced web developer with a strong background in Javascript, CSS, and HTML5 development to work on a variety of interesting projects for a strategic marketing firm. Utilizing best-practices, you will construct and maintain industry leading websites; turning PSD mockups in to cross-browser capable HTML, CSS and Javascript. You will deconstruct and solve problems between browsers, manage content within publishing systems, as well as discover and leverage new techniques in the construction of dynamic websites.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Front-End Web Development experience
  • Ability to convert design mockups in to efficient CSS and SEO friendly HTML
  • The production of Javascript (jQuery preferred) to accommodate functional specification
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop to deconstruct comps for production
  • CMS and Template implementation experience (Expression Engine, Wordpress, etc.) and working
    knowledge of PHP
  • Knowledge of debugging various browser performance/rendering differences and how to resolve them

  • Experience in an agency or other client-driven environment
  • Experience with advanced techniques in CSS3/HTML5/Mobile Web
  • Usage of SASS, LESS or similar
  • You can talk for 20 seconds about your experience with things like these: Mustache, Jade, Ruby, Node, Responsive, Adaptive, Progressive, Obj-C, Capistrano, Backbone, Grunt, CodeIgniter, oAuth,
    requestAnimationFrame
  • Wireframing, Prototyping or UX experience
  • Familiar with version control tools such as SVN or GIT
  • Practical Experience with PHP / MYSQL / APACHE
