IT Application Developer III

The Kemper Services Group is seeking to hire an IT Application Developer III to join our Forms Services team. This position will lead technical development efforts supporting a variety of Java-based technologies and the Thunderhead toolset (BCS/BOS). We follow Service Oriented Architecture patterns in an Agile environment. This position can be located at either the Dallas or Jacksonville corporate office locations.

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, provides technical support to customer groups with respect to applications computing technologies. Writes design specifications based on customers' business needs. Codes, tests and debugs existing business applications to ensure optimal use of computing systems; participates in implementing new applications to improve information processing on an ongoing basis.
