Continental Labor & Staffing Resources is seeking an experienced Accountantfor a local well established company based in Templeton, CA.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years experience in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, has good communication skills, is a team player, has appropriate computer skills, is flexible in handling changing priorities. Vineyard or Winery experience a PLUS.
- BS Degree in accounting or business administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task.

Maintain general ledger for multiple entities.
Participate in monthly close process including financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
Strong GL reconciliations experience, reconcile bank accounts.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
Responsible for payroll input and related entries using outside payroll processing service.
Collaborate with external CPA and prepare draft partnership income tax work papers.
Develop accounting processes, policies and procedures where necessary.
Provide support on special projects.
Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
assist in monitoring budget vs. actual for all accounts.
Supervise and work closely with Accounts Payable/Receivable Personnel.
