The Cato Corporation, a leading retailer of valued-priced womens apparel based in Charlotte, NC (NYSE:CATO), is seeking a Director of Tax for their Corporate Tax department.

This position will report to the Senior Vice President - Treasurer and direct the Companys Tax function including federal and state tax compliance (preparing federal/state income/franchise tax returns, overseeing sales & use and property tax compliance / planning), tax audit management, tax accounting, tax planning and research, accounting and tax support of the Companys subsidiary structure and escheat compliance.

Requirements

Candidates must have 4-6 years recent corporate tax experience on the federal and state level including tax accounting and business/accounting degree. CPA and retail experience preferred.
