FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER FOR DALLAS BANK NEEDED.
This position will manage all the financial reporting and cost allocations for all companies.

Duties To Include

  • Assist in preparation of companies internal and external reporting.
  • Determine cost allocations for all expense items including but not limited to space, insurance and IT.
  • Formalize budget and forecasting for multiple divisions and organizations.
  • Report actual versus budget variances.
  • Review and consolidate the monthly results of operation to management.
  • Prepare tax accruals and maintain deferred tax accounts.
  • Research compliance with GAAP and new accounting pronouncements.
  • Compile information for internal and external audit, quarterly and annual tax preparation, regulatory examinations and due diligence requests, as needed.

experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in financial reporting and consolidations required.
  • Direct experience in cost allocations among divisions and multiple organizations.
  • Must be able to compile data for federal income tax and K-1 reporting.
  • Familiar with various liquidity, capital and earnings ratios.
  • Must have prior experience with budgeting and forecasting operating expenses.

skills and abilities Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Certified Public Accountant.
  • 5 or more years of Accounting experience.
  • Prior experience with financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skill level (macros, lookup formulas, pivot tables, etc).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Prior banking experience preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of regulatory reporting preferred.
