Loan Processing Supervisor

PRIMARY FUNCTIONSupervise a team of Loan Processors as they complete the loan processing of mortgage loan files for the clients of Factual Data. Ensure processing is done in accordance with investor and regulatory guidelines within established timelines. Ensure employee training, development and progression are ongoing and consistent with the objectives of the company. Support and enforce company policies and procedures.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Manage daily production and quality of work.
Manages the workload capacity and capability for a team of loan processors.
Maintain professional conduct of the team.
Delegate duties and responsibilities to team members.
Increase employee's skill and knowledge through on-going training and development.
Conduct comprehensive needs analysis to ensure that training fulfills the objectives of LP.
Consistently adjust and respond to changing departmental needs.
Assist as required to meet business needs in the absence of the Manager.
Provide monthly feedback on performance levels to staff in a one on one setting.
Assist in department team meetings to promote open lines of communication.
Identify process and training gaps to assist in developing additional controls as well as training opportunities to acknowledge process updates and changes.
Liaison to our external clients to ensure customer service levels are being delivered as per our service delivery agreement.
Manages workload distribution and monitors progress of loan processing volume are met.
Ensure that there is a standardized process that is consistently followed by all employees uniformly.
Ensure staff follows loan processing policies and procedures.
Summarize loan processing reports and represent Kroll Factual Data on conference calls and with meetings with clients.
Manage loan processing team to provide timely and consistent feedback to each client.
Identifies critical issues and escalates appropriately.
Delivers on promised results, overcomes obstacles and ensures closure on decisions is achieved.
Maintains staffing schedule and balances employee absences with business needs.
Randomly reviews processed loans to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
Participates in the development of policy changes, program implementation and procedural improvements.
Remains current on all mortgage related regulations and changes and keep the loan processing staff informed.
Informs Manager of department of accomplishments, problems and expectations.
Establish and maintain excellent client relations
Represents KFD as a licensed agent for states we do business in and maintains said licensing through continuing education, as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Hands on PC skills preferably in a Windows environment.
Ability to supervise/manage employees.
Current working knowledge of loan processing, to include: FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, Rural Housing
Working knowledge of refinance and purchase transations
Working knowledge of DU, LP and addressing conditions appropriately as per findings
Strong problem solving skills.
Detail oriented.
Good oral and written communication.
Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time.
Ability to make independent decisions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Proven track record in working in a high volume environment
Ability to learn quickly in order to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Able to do mathematical calculations.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).EXPERIENCE
5 years related work experience in mortgage loan origination, processing and closing lending field.
3 years supervisory experience required.EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
