The Construction Superintendent, as part of the ExxonMobil Construction Site Team, has overall responsibility for the safety, quality, and schedule for the construction of Oil and Gas projects under his assigned area of responsibility. These areas of responsibility may include: Module Fabrication, On-Shore and Offshore Processing Facilities Construction, Civil works supporting the project, Hookup and Commissioning of Offshore Facilities and Brownfield projects within operating Facilities. These projects are located primarily internationally, and the assignment will either be on a Rotational (five week on/three week off) basis, or in some cases on a Resident Expatriate basis. The Construction Superintendent will normally report to either a Construction Site Lead or the Construction Site Manager In-Country.Primary Job Functions:
  • Lead Site Safety within area of
  • Lead company personnel (as assigned) for planning and completion of construction activities in accordance with project objectives, priorities and contract
  • Supervise other Superintendents, Technical Foremen, Discipline Leads or Specialists as
  • Interface with Company and Contractor personnel on fabrication site
  • Determine if corrective actions are needed in order to meet project objectives, coordinate the development of these corrective actions and work to have these
  • Coordinate site interfaces between contractors (and subcontractors) with Production Operations, Drilling and other ongoing projects as
  • Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues and challenges to Construction site Manager or Project manager as
  • Oversee the execution of hookup and commissioning (Onshore and Offshore) as well as brownfield projects in existing operations.Job
  • Oil and Gas Facilities Fabrication/Construction/Installation experience at a Technical Foreman or Construction Superintendent level with either an Operating Company or an Industry Contractor Company. International experience is a
  • Demonstrated construction site experience as Foreman, Superintendent, or Field Engineer, especially in module fabrication, facility integration, module hookup and commissioning and offshore brownfield work
  • BS in Engineering or Construction Science/Construction Management preferred, but not
  • Must be willing and able to work internationally, including resident and/or rotational assignments. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
