responsible for all illustrations /renderings of accessoriesincluding
handbags, SLGS and belts. They must be capable of realistically
illustrating/rendering various fabrics , leather, and metal designs. In
addition, this candidate requires technical knowledge of Leathergoods and
hardware design and development. Responsibilities : Illustrate/render in color
a realistic image of each key silhouette within every group of newly developed
concepts. Work closely with handbag and belt designers to render three
dimensional black line drawings and full color illustrations based on their
direction. Responsible for hardware development, specing and illustrating
for all handbag, SLGS and belts. Make revisions to illustrations/renderings
and hardware specs after key meetings with upper management. Revise sketches
and hardware specs after first proto review to prepare final specs for second
proto review. Attend design proto approval meetings providing technical advice
where needed. Develop special projects as requested.Job Requirements : BA,
BFA or equivalent experience in accessory or industrial design. Knowledge
of hardware construction, and specing for accessories and hardware. Must have
technical knowledge of product development, construction, illustration, and
rendering. Strong ability to multitask under tight deadlines with impeccable
detail, requiring minimal supervision. High level of technical illustration
and hand rendering with speed and accuracy. Expert in pastel, gouache,
watercolor, marker, and color pencil mediums. Illustrator & Photoshop
knowledge a plus. Able to take direction from designers.Ralph Lauren is an
