Title: Global Sourcing Manager- Gum Base Ingredients
Location: IL-Chicago
This role is a center led role that is responsible for the commercial gum base ingredient strategy development and execution. This role has accountability for delivering strategic sourcing plans for $175 million in spend across the Wrigley gum base operations (NA, Europe & AsiaPacific). Additionally, this role is responsible for supplier development, mitigating supply risk and driving productivity in the gum base categories.

Develop and execute against sourcing strategies for category(s) responsibility using MSSM tool

Manage the approval process of new suppliers and materials.

Negotiate pricing, terms and related business needs of WWY with the Supply base

Key point of contact for cross functional partners for projects across the globe for categories under his/her responsibility

Work collaboratively to drive productivity, responsible sourcing, diversity, sustainability and working capital needs of the organization

Bachelor's degree with focus in Business, Logistics, Materials Management or Finance and/or the equivalent combination of education and work experience

Minimum 8-10 years in Procurement and/or Supply Chain ideal. Experience in strategic sourcing with global experience. Chemical sourcing experience preferred Experienced in productivity or related cost reduction programs helpful
