Principal Electrical Engineer / Power Engineer is needed for a leading consumer goods food manufacturer in Nebraska. Must have experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing environment. Must travel up to 40%. Full time direct hire position with competitive base pay, generous bonus potential and generous relcoation package.

Responsibilities

You are the Electrical Power and power distribution expert regarding codes and safety requirements for plant and corporate equipment and systems
Create standards, design guidelines, specifications, inspection programs for supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of electrical power distribution
Create guidelines for automation, hardware, software, and programming for Front Ending Loading Packages (FEL's)
Assist in developing capital plans with commercially proven power distribution improvements recommendations
Travel 40% to provide on-site support to project teams during design reviews, start-up, improvement implementation

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering
10 - 15 yrs. in electrical distribution system design
Must have electrical engineering and electric power distribution experience in food manufacturing operations and food manufacturing conceptual design. Pharmaceutical, beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) is also acceptable
Able to travel up to 40% and work in corporate office, plants and other foods manufacturing, vendor assembly and test facilities
Broad electrical power distribution, food manufacturing systems and general manufacturing applications experience
Must have experience supporting large capital projects development ($50 - $80mm in capital projects)
