General Summary
Manage the overall effective and efficient use of resources within the maintenance department, including headcount, budget, and materials. Evaluate and prioritize scheduled maintenance work. Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills. Leading through change : communicates the need for change and a compelling vision of change, makes decisions and priorities consistent with change objectives, takes responsibility for the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace. Maintenance Management: Manage the overall effective and efficient use of resources. Oversees expense budget through tracking of labor, material, and outside services. Monitor relationships with vendors in order to ensure conformance with Company standards and appropriate products and services. Take action to reduce costs and focus on creating greater efficiencies.

Computer Systems and Data Management: Computerized Maintenance Management System responsibilities that include data management and system set up; oversees daily work order approval through CMMS; tracking of maintenance metrics; provides daily, weekly, and monthly summary data on performance metrics to various departments; maintains documentation of work audits

Task will require up 70% of incumbents time. Quality programs may require up to 2 years to implement certification.
Responsibilities
Incumbent must be able to comprehend maintenance issues of a wide variety of types in order to develop successful maintenance programs that drive continuous improvement. Ability to identify “root cause” of maintenance issues will be used to improve performance and processes, and enhance internal customer satisfaction.
A. Education
Minimum of BS in chemical/ electrical/ or mechanical engineering
B. Experience
5-8 years of experience in Maintenance Management in a Chemical processing environment, preferred. Preferred experience in PLC and electrical troubleshooting.
Knowledge
Requires an in-depth knowledge of Maintenance processes and procedures. Ability to identify and resolve process, system, and/or mechanical failures. Knowledge of training requirements, standards, and guidelines. Includes the ability to apply individual and group technical training techniques. Ability to analyze business processes and develop systems- based solutions that will improve current state.
Skills
Supervisory experience and demonstrated people management skills are essential. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
