IT Trailblazers is seeking a Senior Cognos Architect for one of our major clients. This is a Full
Time position based in Pleasanton, CA

Our Client is a large business conglomerate with operations in over 42 countries and revenue of over $12 billion for the last financial year.

Job Description

The Senior Cognos Architect will Lead, design and develop BI solutions using Cognos BI 10.x and Cognos Statistics. The Architect will develop Framework Manager models by leveraging Cognos recommended design techniques and will be involved in development and enhancement of Cognos Portal through SDK

Skills & Qualifications

Performance management and best practices for Cognos reporting and modeling
Experience in Cognos Java Scripting
Strong experience in either JAVA/J2EE or .NET/C#
Maintaining and augmenting the FM and Transformer Models
Must have worked in Cognos based work estimates and work planning
Experience Architecting Cognos multi-dimensional cube solutions
Must be proficient in SDLC3 (or industry equivalent) and framework modeling and complex reporting
Must have experience in SunOne LDAP or Microsoft Active Directory development with JNDI
Relational and Dimensional database design for Oracle, Sql Server
Must have experience in data modeling, data architecture and analytics
