Provide advanced troubleshooting and engineering analysis to ensure the proper operation and performance of customer products and/or services by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex desktop computer system's software, hardware and network connectivity problems. Conducts engineering analysis and ensure the quality of service to the organization's customers. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to Information Technology specialists. May be involved in customer installation and training.

Required Education

Required Skills

Ability to do full life-cycle software development: gather/define requirements, design, implement, test, document and deploy the system. User Interface design and implementation. Ability to work well with other developers from other companies and organizations without oversight. Expertise in designing, creating, querying and maintaining relational databases. Ability to manage Windows-based server network system with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Virtualization technologies. Ability to manage HP Servers and SAN hardware.

Preferred Skills

Expertise with .NET, C#, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation). Expertise in Silverlight, ASP.NET, WinForms, Prism, Infragistics NetAdvantage or other third party control frameworks. Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server source control system Experience integrating with Lotus Notes and use of the Lotus Notes APIs. Experience integrating indexing engines for indexing and searching a wide variety of data types. Sharepoint 2007 and 2010 custom web development Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008, programming and administration Experience with Windows Server 2008, HP Server hardware, Hyper-V Virtualization, HP EVA Storage Arrays, Decru encryption devices, and Cisco SAN switches. Experience with deployment technologies such as Microsoft Application Virtualization
