Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Community Integration Clinician

Description

Provide coordination between the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and private providers of community-based supports and services for DMHAS consumers with brain injuries. Provide comprehensive, bio-psychosocial assessments and individual service plans for individuals referred from hospitals and community providers and facilitate transitions to community. Acts as liaison and consultant to providers and helps to facilitate productive team functioning. Makes site and home visits as needed. Clinical supervision provided by DMHAS Acquired Brain Injury Services. Position based in our Columbia office with one day a week at DMHAS office in Middletown.

Minimum Requirements

MSW Required. Supervision towards licensure provided. Experience with brain injury, mental health, and substance abuse. Bilingual Spanish preferred. ASL a plus.

Salary Range

  • MSW - $40,186 – $45,466
  • MSW plus Bilingual Spanish Fluency - $42,220 - $47,768
  • Spanish Fluency - $42,635 – $48,238
  • CT LCSW - $43,014 - $48,667
  • CT LCSW plus Bilingual Spanish Fluency - $45,192 - $51,131
