Title: VP - Securities Processing Lead Analyst
Location: OH-Columbus
Manage overall activities and performance of the team including appropriate resource allocation, setting and reviewing performance objectives, goals, and target
Supervise and provide guidance and development to Section
Serve as the primary first point of escalation for management
Manage client relationship by serving as a senior point of contact for
Attend weekly calls with client/custodians to address any issues and insure Citi is providing the level of service
People Management: Set individual performance plans for members of the team in conjunction with the Section Manager and provide coaching and feedback for general performance management issues such as attendance, productivity and quality issues through a formalized review process; participate in development and training plans as
Ensure overall operating efficiency. Objectives may include standards of conduct, quality standards, performance objectives, and productivity
Identify any opportunity for, and implement process improvements, service enhancements, or technology
Train staff on new procedures or technology
Identify control deficiencies and implement appropriate procedures to mitigate any risk or control
Identify opportunities to reduce expense through improved technology builds, process changes, or any opportunities for outsourcing at a lower
Work hand in hand with management of other departments (ESS, Performance, Client Services) to ensure Citi is meeting and exceeding service levels.
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience; 7-10 years of industry-related experience, including asset management, mutual funds, common and collective trusts, and hedge (alternative investment) funds
Proven leadership and managerial skills
Strong technical accounting skills, including accounting policy research and implementation
Strong analytical skills Solid communication skills
