Due to tremendous growth, we have a key opening for a Sr. Firmware Engineer with C, Embedded Linux, and ARM experience. Experience with Printing systems would be a good plus. Description Of Duties

  • As one of the key members of the firmware team, the firmware engineer will be responsible for developing Linux based components of the printer/copier controller firmware.
  • Develop and maintain the Linux based application code, port application or drivers from non-Linux RTOS to Linux

  • Required Skills

  • Expertise and working knowledge of Embedded Linux RTOS along with any one other similar RTOS like VxWorks, ThreadX etc. Deep understanding of RTOS internals and architecture.
  • Ability to work with embedded controller boards, working knowledge of processors like ARM, PowerPC, MIPS etc., and familiarity developing low level device drivers for different peripherals like USB, Ethernet, Memory etc.
  • Expertise and working knowledge of Linux development - Kernel, application and build systems. Good kernel debugging skills.
  • Experience in development, debugging, and productizing of large C based software projects. Good working knowledge in C programming language, assembly and debugging skills. Experience working with IDE based environments and tools used for embedded development.
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related. Masters Degree is a plus.
