We are large food production plant searching for Production Manager/ Food Process Supervisor to join our outstanding team. You will be responsible for managing production elements of a food processing plant team. We have roles open on our Weekend Shift, work 3 on, 4 off! Also a role on our M-Th second shift, 4 on, 3 off!

What you'll be doing!

- Effectively motivate and manage production staff in order to attain production and quality goals
-Appraise, reward and encourage employees with continuous improvement suggestions.
- Identify problems in production processes and resolve issues, providing a safe work environment
- Ensure USDA, HACCP, FDA and OSHA standards are followed
- Continuously monitor and improve work flow and quality of product
- Support continuous improvement goals in production efficiencies, safety, quality, and cost control
- Monitor and review daily line performances that are critical to achieve KPIs and drive lean improvements

What you need for this position!

- 3+ years' experience as a meat production manager or supervisor
- Excellent team building skills
- Strong financial and cost analysis skills
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel & Word
- Knowledge of PC based scheduling programs
- Bachelors' degree in Food Science, Engineering, Lean Production Management, Management or related OR AA degree with 5+ years Management experience
