We are the largest and most successful high performance supercomputing company in Southern California. We are a family owned firm who has never needed outside funding to stay in business. Our impressive portfolio of customers includes but is not limited to: NASA, the Dept of Defense, and many universities, including Harvard and Carnegie Mellon.

We have an immediate job opening for a Production Manager to join us in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in beautiful Irvine, CA. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in high performance computing, is a master of the Linux Operating System, and has a proven track record of managing others.

What You Need For This Position

  • Thorough knowledge of computer hardware associated with high performance computing servers, networks, storage, workstations & clusters
  • In depth knowledge of the Linux operating system (i.e. CentOS, Red Hat)
  • Strong understanding of TCP / IP Networking
  • Great understanding of RAID configurations
  • Must have the ability to update BIOS settings
  • Some knowledge of IPMI Remote Network Management Features
  • Some knowledge of other networking protocols including Infiniband
  • Ability to write custom scripts a plus
  • Ability to download and install RPMs a plus

    • What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing the production staff while they build complex computing systems
  • Working with all aspects of the production environment including: hardware & software integration, testing, delivery & support
  • Documentation of the processes and procedures to ensure manufacturing process is repeatable
  • Communication with upper management to update production schedule, identify production issues and help stream-line production process
  • Develop Production Schedule Tracking System allowing others to quickly understand where all orders are in the production process
