We are searching for a talented and experienced web application developer to join a highly Agile/Scrum development organization team to develop our next generation web client applications. This is a senior technical role and the successful candidate must demonstrate proven track record of developing enterprise-grade web front-ends using technologies such as JavaScript, Ajax, XHTML and JSON, and an established Ajax framework such as EXTJS, Prototype, Dojo, GWT.

    • What You Need For This Position

  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML and JSON.
  • Proven experience of developing software using the Agile/SCRUM development methodology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
    Java, SQL, Linux, PHP, HTML5, iPhone/Mobile Applications.

    • What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver projects that contribute to company revenue targets.
  • Deliver high quality code.
  • Deliver projects on time.
  • Join a scrum team of up to 6 developers and code high quality web front-ends using JavaScript & AJAX.
  • Help establish GUI best practices and JavaScript/AJAX frameworks for web development, with a strong focus on Test-Driven Development and Test Automation.
  • Mentor and cross-train less experienced members of the web development team.
  • Design test plan strategies and develop automated test scripts (unit tests etc).
  • Validate software documentation, reviewing final documents prior to release and verify processes have been followed.
  • Liaise with product management team to determine and analyse customer functionality requirements based on user input, collaboration with professional services team and expert knowledge.
  • Provide 3rd level support to customers as required.
