We have an exciting career opportunity for a Television Business News Producer with International and Domestic Business News broadcasting experience to join a new News and Features Broadcasting Company located in the Washington, DC area.

We are seeking a talented Producer for a premiere business newsmagazine/current affairs broadcast who has international producing experience and is a solid writer and story teller.

This is a Part Time / Freelance position to start and will eventually go direct in 2013.

The producer will assist in all aspects of preparation and production, including background research, generation of show ideas, interviewing potential guests, editing video, and preparing material for the host.

Responsibilities Include

  • Pre and post production of news magazine pieces, research, script writing and copy editing, daily deadline journalism, strong news judgment, and ability to work quickly and calmly under deadline are required.

    We''re looking for someone both organized and creative, who wants to immerse him or herself in current events, work in tight collaboration with others to get strong interviews on the air.

    Interest and knowledge of international affairs is essential, and familiarity with business and finance issues is especially desirable.
