We have an outstanding career opportunity for a CHEMICAL TRADER or POLYMER TRADER to join a leading Global Chemical Sales & Distribution Company specializing in chemicals and polymers located in New York.

We are searching for a Chemical or Polymer Trader with international and also domestic experience sourcing and purchasing industrial chemicals, petro-chemicals and polymer commodities for successful distribution and trading purposes.

The trade flow can be from abroad into the United States as well as anywhere globally, utilizing a network of worldwide offices, a network of petrochemical and polymer relationships and extensive knowledge in the field as well as the financial strength of the company.

Must Have

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in the chemical or polymer industry.
  • Must have experience trading and selling polymers or chemicals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of global economics and trade flows.
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of the selected products that make the trade and their commercialization viable.
