We are a leader in delivering an entirely new class of enterprise software to our Fortune 500 clients! We are looking for a STRONG Linux Systems Engineer that can fulfill everything below! One who can demonstrate proof of his/her knowledge and experience working with complex and highly available web systems.

What You Need For This Position

3+ years of professional Linux administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, Debian)

2+ years experience working with Cloud Computing on Amazon EC2 and Rackspace Cloud

2+ years experience scripting languages. (Prefer Ruby as we use Chef)

Experience as a consultant/project based environment

Experience working with clients in person, on the phone and via email

Ability to plan and execute projects with minimal oversight

Jenkins Build experience

Comfortable with JVM based and dynamic scripting environments

Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Experience

Solid understanding of current web and internet technologies such as Redis, Riak, MongoDB, Cloud, Chef, Distributed systems

Working knowledge of, relational database technology, replication and clustering. This is not a DBA position but we do work with many types of database technologies

Working with IaaS providers like Rackspace, AWS, Joyent, Terremark, and others

Knowledge of load balancing and high availability planning

Clear understanding of networking technologies (Routers, Firewalls, Switches, etc)

Monitoring services and on-call experience

What You'll Be Doing

You will be part of a team providing the day to day administration, upkeep, development, and deployment of client systems in a heterogeneous computing environment. You will be working primarily on client facing projects with a significant degree of autonomy and responsibility.

Your responsibility will include sharing on-call duties with the other systems and development engineers on the team to ensure smooth 24x7 operation of our clients' systems.
