Job Responsibilities

As a Business Architect you will facilitate the rigorous identification and documentation of business architecture by participating in a variety of activities to meet the department's and Client's needs. This includes gathering information and analyzing needs as well as coordinating and executing the transition and ongoing management of business architecture. This is a consulting role so you can expect to travel up to 80% of the time to and from this client site in Bloomington, IL.

Additional Responsibilities

Taking ownership/stewardship of department vision and direction, providing communication and education
Serving as a liaison between the department and Business and Technology Integration Office
Developing and communicating needs within department and with Systems
Assisting in the development of training and support materials for business architecture, modeling and requirements development
Assisting the department in defining and developing business cases

Job Requirements

We are looking for a Business Analyst skilled in client interaction and coordination. Excellent communication skills, organization, and experience managing multiple stake holders are essential.

Additional Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Insurance industry experience
7-8 years Business Architecture/Analysis experience
Expertise in BPMN
Experience in developing Business Process Modeling and Process Mapping
Knowledge of life insurance business terms and glossary, highly preferred
