Responsibilities

A leading employer in Las Vegas is looking to add a Director of Financial Reporting to their growing organization. This position is newly created and offers an excellent work life balance while still providing new challenges and career growth opportunities. As the Director of Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will consist of, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Reviewing and preparing quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Reviewing and preparing SEC filings
  • Researching highly technical accounting and financial statement disclosure matters
  • Managing communication on financial reporting matters with executive management and external auditors

    The ideal Director of Financial Reporting candidate must meet the following minimum criteria

  • At least 5 years of experience with a national or large regional accounting firm and 2 years of experience in an external financial reporting role
  • At least 7 years of experience in SEC reporting and performing research on highly technical accounting matters
  • Active CPA license
