Job Responsibilities


Install, Commission, and Troubleshoot energy management and lighting systems

Schneider Field Service Engineers support our customers by providing them with best in market technical expertise, job site support, commissioning, and follow up support. The Schneider Services team is customer focused, and as such all of our Field Service Engineers are an integral part of keeping our customer relationship positive throughout the entire project process and beyond. This position is in the growing sectors of energy management and green technologies, Schneider is dedicated to being a leader in these sectors and will continue to innovate and be a leader.

Responsibilities

Commission, troubleshoot and repair of commercial and industrial lighting and energy management installations
Coordinate with on-site contractors and facility managers to ensure proper system installation and operation
Focus on the customer relationship (does our system meet expectations, how can we improve performance)
Work independently from your home office and on the road to maximize efficiency and customer responsiveness
Serve as the lead in follow up service request and scheduled maintenance

Qualifications

2 or 4 year college degree, technical school degree, or related experience
Willingness to travel 60+%of the time
Able to work from home efficiently and effectively
2 to 5 years work experience in lighting control, system integration, or related field
Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems
Networking or IT experience a plus
Organized and enjoys a fast paced work schedule
Strong project management and training skills
The ability to interact with a wide range of customers from contractors to end-users
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while always keeping the team informed
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screens, as required
Excellent communicationskills, ability to stay cool under pressure, and a positive attitude are required
