Location: CA-San Jose

We are looking for an experienced UI Engineer ready to take on challenges in the areas of Network Security analysis that requires working on cutting edge technologies of highly scalable databases, Flex, jQuery, AJAX, Java, XML/JSON, and possible exploration of mobile applications on iPhone/iPad/Android.”

Responsibilities

  • Develop Web-Applications using Flex, HTML5, AJAX, XML, JSON, JavaScript, Java, Databases, Reporting and Visualization Toolkits for the Network Security and related markets
  • Maintain existing Web-Applications by implementing new features and fixing bugs
  • Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancements

    • Requirements

  • Exceptional user interface and experience design skills and an understanding of user-centered design disciplines and principals, as well as an eye for subtle detail
  • Experience in Web site content design and development with Flash and Flex is a must
  • jQuery platform experience is a must
  • JSP development with experience in JavaScript, AJAX, CSS and SWING
  • Familiarity with Open Source frameworks such as Spring, Struts, JSF
  • Expert skills in XML, XSL/T, and related technologies and protocols
  • Expert skills in SQL and database design
  • Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
  • Knowledge of Internet Security, Firewalls, AV, Anti-Spam technologies a PLUS
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Show aptitude to learn new things and incorporate new ideas
  • Ability to work independently and also work in a team located geographically

    • EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE

  • BS / BE / B.Tech or equivalent
  • 4 years of software engineering experience
