Job Description

Seeking a mid to senior level Electrical Designer with 5-10 years of experience for our Kansas City, KS, Substation Department. The candidate must be proficient with AutoCAD and MicroStation. Some experience designing medium to high voltage substations is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with 5+ years of experience in physical detailed design as well as protection and control relaying schemes, including wiring diagrams. The candidate must also have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to lead a drafting group in an organized fashion. This position will entail detailed substation design with drafting support. An Associate's Degree or equivalent technical degree is required. EEO/AA Employer
