Description/Job SummaryHGL''s construction activities are managed from our Hudson Ohio office, however the individual positions may be located in a number of our other locations such as Reston, VA; Huntsville, AL; Albany, NY; Overland Park, KS; San Antonio, TX; or Denver, CO.
Responsibilities/DutiesResponsible for working with Project/Site manager and/or senior scheduler/estimator in analysis of remediation/construction schedules, time impact analysis, review of periodic schedule updates and ability to produce metrics and statistics for prediction of completion, along with good writing skills to produce reports and narratives. Responsible for gathering information from Request for Proposals, drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for remediation/construction projects. Must have ability to understand construction practices, utilize that knowledge to anticipate how a construction project will be accomplished and to anticipate challenges/risks with the work related to cost/schedule. Utilizes imput from Project Managers, Site Superintendents and CQC staff. Provide technical support and assistance to project control personnel.

Required SkillsMust have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications including the ability to convey thoughts clearly and concisely. Working knowledge of Primavera P3 and P6 Programs. Knowledge of USACE standard project scheduling requirements and familiarity with utilization of RMS, QCS and SDEF is a plus.
Required ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of related work experience involving environmental and construction cost estimating and scheduling activities. Experience in performing, monitoring and reviewing planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control and analysis, cost and resource loading. Intermediate level knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and startup work process.

Required EducationBS in Engineering, Construction Management or directly related field. Any advanced degree or certifications related to the position would be a plus but are not required.
