Current opening available for a RN Supervisor in Long-Term Care. Full-Time position is available on the 6:45AM - 3:00PM or 2:45PM -11PM shift; shifts are 5 per week, with every other weekend and holiday off. Sign-On Bonus, plus shift differential.

Position Will Be Responsible For The Following

• Supervision of Nursing Care
  
• Promoting observance of nursing service policy and procedures
  
• Making appropriate rounds to assess patient / resident needs and nursing service being administered
  
• Assess change in patient condition and report to physician when appropriate
  
• Supervises development, use and update of patient care plan
  
• Reviews and investigates incident reports
  
• Evaluates personnel performance and attendance and make staff recommendations
  
• Issues verbal and written warnings to staff documenting specific areas for improvement
  
• Assists Director of Nursing with improving nursing services
  
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Applicants must be currently licensed and registered as a professional nurse in New York State
  
• At least 1 year supervisory experience required
  
• Previous geriatric nursing experience preferred
