    Job Description

    • Clinic CNA takes vital signs of participants of Lutheran Senior Healthcare
    • Escorts participants to exam rooms and prepares participants to be seen in the clinic and assist physician and nurses in treatment
    • Ensures exam rooms are prepared for physician use and stocked with appropriate supplies
    • Obtains information from participants as directed
    • Obtains specimens and assists physicians and nurses
    • Participates in clinic meetings and overall planning related to clinic
    • Candidates must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participants contact. Lutheran Senior LIFE will provide the screening to determine if the candidate has medical clearance
    • Any necessary immunizations required will be the responsibility of the candidate
    Experience and Skills

    • Educational Requirements: High School Diploma/GED
    • Certifications Required: Current CNA certification in State of New Jersey and/or Home Health Aide certification
    • Years of experience preferred or required: Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly. Knowledge of principles, practices, standards and techniques of a C.N.A. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Knowledge of medical equipment use and maintenance
