The employee benefits practice group of the Chicago office (under 40 attorneys) of our national law firm client is seeking an associate who has, ideally, 2-6 years of employee benefits experience. This practice includes handling pension and welfare plans on behalf of individuals and classes of plan participants; qualified and nonqualified retirement, welfare and fringe benefit plan design and administration; health benefit compliance (HIPAA, retiree medical issues, services agreements) issues; and the employee benefits aspects of corporate mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. This is the perfect opportunity for an associate who wants to be part of a small, close-knit and collegial practice group.
