Listing Info

In this position, you'll evaluate, plan, and administer nursing

care to patients. You'll provide prescribed medication and

treatment, help physicians during exams and treatment, and

monitor and record patient condition, notifying physician when

appropriate. You'll also monitor patient care provided by LPNs,

CNAs, and others. Responsible for all aspects of nursing care,

assessment. CV Services Unit capacity is 14 beds/average daily

census 12; patient ages 14-Geriatric. CC Unit capacity is 15

patients , average daily census is 10, patient ages 14 and older.

The patients on this unit require: cardiac monitoring via

telemetry, vasoactive drug therapy, post procedure care,

vascular devices. Some patients are in the unit for Step-Down

CABG, Post Angioplasty/Stent, Acute Coronary Syndrome, CHF,

HRN, Syncope with cardiac origin, Drug OD with CV symptoms.

Requirements

Alaska RN license, ACLS, BLS certifications required. CCRN

certification preferred.

RN with 1 yr critical care/cardiac background required

10 hr or 12 hr shifts available
