Role And Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will work within our product management organization and will be responsible for gathering requirements and disseminating information across the organization.
Gather business requirements and convert these to documents for consumption across the organization
Create use cases and user stories
Work with product managers to define new product features
Define methods and procedures for improving current processes within the product management lifecycle
Perform project management responsibilities on an as-needed basis
Experience - Qualifications - And Education
Bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years of experience working as a Business Analyst within a product management environment
Extensive experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Strong workflow analysis skills and the ability to identify customer needs, analyze them against available solutions, and identify gaps
Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to write reports, proposals, business specifications, user stories, use cases, procedures, and correspondence
Exposure to EMRs, healthcare messaging standards, EDI/HIPAA transactions, and other healthcare technology desired
Healthcare industry experience strongly desired including exposure to hospital, payer, provider and other healthcare delivery organizations
Ability to work independently and in team environments to meet deadlines and produce quality results
Exposure to Agile Development Methodology desired
Previous clinical experience desired
Able to travel up to 25% as needed
