Turner Broadcasting System is seeking a Facilities manager with a strong electrical background to oversee and provide troubleshooting expertise to the daily operations, maintenance, repair and installation of electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems. In addition it will ensure occupational risk management measures are in place as required and appropriate, and continuously monitor those and other maintenance programs for effectiveness. It reports directly to the Senior Manager of DC Facilities & Security and will supervise a staff of 10 facilities employees. Also responsible for supervision of in-house and contractual maintenance, testing and repair of generators, UPS systems, automatic transfer switches, electrical distribution systems, chilled water generating/distribution equipment, general facility maintenance work and programs to include:

Scheduling Transportation Facility Specialists

Office

Janitorial and hospitality service

Vending machine service and

Television installation and

Reserved parking program and

Safety and Lock Out/Tag out program administration and

Vehicle maintenance and

HAZ-MAT program to include maintaining MSDS

Refrigerant handling and management

Coordinating support for off site activities

Overseeing management of the automated building access databaseQualifications: Minimum of five years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a facilities engineering environment including primary and emergency electrical and mechanical systems. Must hold a valid drivers license and be able to lift at least 50lbs.
