    Title:System Test Engineer

    Location:Mt. Laurel, NJ

    Summary

    The System Test Engineer is responsible for design and development of System Test Plans, Procedures and Processes for the current as well as future SS7 products. The plans, procedures, and processes will be used to ensure all current and future products meet customer, marketing, and protocol specifications as well as engineering requirements specifications. The System Test Engineer will contribute in test improvement initiatives and proactively identify test process improvements to test management. The System Test Engineer will participate in ongoing Quality and TL9000 activities of the Ulticom Quality organization.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Design and develop system test plans, procedures and processes
    • Perform requirements based system level testing of current and future products
    • Evaluate test results to assure adherence to product requirements and specifications, documenting improvement recommendations as appropriate
    • Support and recommend test improvement initiatives
    • Support activities for test automation and tools identification for system level test activities
    • Proactively identify test process improvements to test management
    • Support Quality and TL9000 objectives during all design and development activities
    • Report status and produce test reports for ManagementREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills):
    • Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
    • 5-7 years System Integration and test activities
    • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in the English language
    • Experience developing system level test plans and procedures for requirement based testing activities
    • Knowledge of various telecommunications architectures, operating systems (including Solaris, LINUX), and processor families
    • Experience with Unix operating system
    • Experience with IP protocols/technologies
    • Experience with test automation
    • Experience with Java and C/C++ programming environmentsAPPLY NOW
