Acquires and services commercial / business loans, commercial real estate loans and bank services in accordance with individually established business development goals Achieves portfolio growth and cross-sale goals. Oversees assigned loan portfolio to ensure proper risk management and compliance with loan covenants. Makes presentations regarding bank products and services to prospective clients and company principals. Performs underwriting functions as needed. Continually monitors credit quality of assigned accounts. Higher level Commercial Bankers may oversee lower level associates.
Typically requires a Bachelors and 5 years commercial lending and loan management experience. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus extensive knowledge of bank products, commercial lending and loan management techniques. Must have working knowledge of San Diego commercial loan market.
