Lube Technician Level 1 Employee
J-Team Services Standards (JTSS) are our procedures to service a customer’s car in a timely manner. You are required to know every position in a 5 person team with in the first 90 days of employment with the Company. You will learn JTSS from two places, Computer Based Training (CBT), and On the Job Training (OJT).
The CBT will consist of multiple course modules including; Orientation and Safety, and JTSS-Upper Bay Technician. At the end of each module you will take a Certification Test. When you pass your Certification Test it is now time to get your On the Job training. The manager or floor manager will conduct the OJT with you. When you pass your OJT the manager or floor manager will sign off on your proficiency examination. You must be proficient in all positions within the first 90 days of your employment. It is you’re responsibly to complete all CBT modules. If you are not able to complete all CBT and be proficient in all positions of the 5 person team you will be put on an action plan to get you on track.
Greet/Customer Relations During the course of the day you may be tasked in a position that is required to greet our customers. It is policy to greet every customer within 10 seconds of them arriving to our location. When greeting the customer you must welcome the customer with the scripted greeting “Welcome to J
