We are seeking individuals who are interested in learning to become Investment & Insurance Advisors to meet with high net-worth clients to build their financial future. We give our advisors the opportunity to shadow successful Investment & Insurance Advisors who devote themselves to your education and advancement within the company. Ultimately, new-hires will have the opportunity to get their Financial Advisor licenses and, of course, advance and grow throughout the company by consistently proving they have what it takes to offer sound insurance and investment advice to our clients. If you are confident, self-disciplined and believe that you have the work ethic and perseverance to be successful as an Investment & Insurance Advisor, then North Star Financial is the right place for you! You will be given 4 years of paid training in an environment that promotes hard work and fosters success.

Responsibilities

As an Investment & Insurance Advisor for North Star Resource Group, you get as much out of the job as you put into it. On any given day you will market yourself and the company to others and prospect for new clients. Educating yourself is also an important part of the process, as you will study for and pass your Financial Advisor examinations. Additional responsibilities include:

• Working closely with families, individuals and businesses as you provide customized recommendations to help them meet their financial goals
• Building a strong, long-term relationship with clients
• Establishing a network of referrals
• Visiting business and educational establishments to speak with new clients and establish relationships
• Educating others within the company

Requirements

As an Investment & Insurance Advisor for North Star Resource Group, you must be confident, personable and self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a winning attitude. It is imperative that you are able to work with a variety of individuals and are collected and alert in a fast-paced environment. Additional requirements include:
