Scope

  • Oversight responsibility for the planning, development and production of internal communication campaigns relevant to the diverse interests of Xerox Services' employees. ,
  • Partners with other areas of management, business units, and corporate entities to ensure all Xerox Business Services HR communication activities are aligned to corporate and sector requirements.
  • Creates, edits and distributes the preparation of all internal Xerox Business Services communications to ensure a consistent corporate branded message is delivered to employees.
  • Responsible to develop communications materials that convey the proper messages, change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Works with various XBS departmental leaders, Corporate Marketing leaders, and/or functional peer groups to research and drive the development of communications specifically in the areas of HR related messages.
  • From time to time, work with C-level executives to craft messages about business strategy, employee-related actions or activities, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Interacts with internal corporate partners such as Corporate Communications/Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, and HRO&S to produce desired communication tools and results.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Oversees distribution of developed communications pieces to ensure proper branding and time-sensitive messages.
  • Recommends changes to policies and procedures where necessary that could have potential impact to employees within the XBS organization.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes project plans to use resources to meet multiple schedules and goals.
  • Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Desired Qualifications

    • Exceptional writing, editing, graphics and presentation skills.
    • Clear understanding of the link between business strategy and the people dimension.
    • Ability to develop clear communications in support of overall business strategy.
    • Understands complex business issues and can translate into employee friendly communication materials.
    • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects at one time.
    • Knowledge of HR policies, processes, and US and international labor regulations is helpful but not essential.
    Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 7+ years of experience in a communications role, preferably experience with internal communications.
