Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements to determine how the applications should be built
- Design and develop complete iOS applications
- Implement components of iOS applications
- Partner with other Software Developers on the Team to integrate iPhone and iOS applications into our client's existing infrastructure
- Write unit tests to verify application functionality
- Estimate development efforts based on requirements and design
- Analyze and fix bugs
Software Engineer Qualifications (required Unless Noted Otherwise)
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Minimum five years of commercial software development experience
- Demonstrated experience using iOS
- Demonstrated experience building applications using client-server architecture and multi-threading
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent job related experience
- Must be a team player that is driven; willing to take initiative; is responsible; and eager to learn
- Strong planning and problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
- Strong experience with C or Objective-C
- JSON Web Services
- Demonstrated experience with Locations Based Services (LBS); GPS
- Demonstrated experience with RESTful APIs
- Familiar with best practices for iOS development
- Must have designed, implemented, and published an IOS application
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented (OOD / OOP); Agile; and Iterative and Incremental Development Methodologies, and Asynchronous design patterns
- Experience with Apple Developer and iTunes Connect Portals
- Experience with the Apple Provisioning and Submission Process
- Strong knowledge of Core Data including data migration
- Experience with GCD (Grand Central Dispatch) and blocks
- Experience with ARC (Automatic Reference Counting)
- Experience with In-App purchases (StoreKit)
