This role will require a mix of very strong Web technical skills, specialized expertise in all aspects of Web security, and a leadership background. The consultant will provide in depth Web security domain expertise and work experience in support Internet application. The candidate must be a self-starter with excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills. The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, multi-focused, and must have the ability to prioritize tasks. The candidate must be able to handle concurrent responsibilities and project tasks with no supervision.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline

8+ years experience in IT or product engineering and with Software Development. Furthermore, the development experience must be in support of large scale production web software products, applications or portal sites with complex, distributed infrastructure.

1+ years managing Web security related development efforts or leading security oriented teams.

Proven knowledge and domain expertise in J2EE application development concepts

Proven knowledge and experience in software application structure (DDL, XML, distributed computing, design patterns, model view controller architecture, exception handling, databases, JDBC, STRUTS, etc)

Extensive working experience in object oriented programming, defect tracking and configurations management.

Significant experience in java coding from high-level design specification and or planning documents

Experience with WSAD or any other industry standard J2EE development tool is a must

Experience in designing, coding, testing, and defect fixing

Experience with Test Director is a nice to have.

Excellent end-to-end understanding of development processes, organization, and techniques in order to drive the creation of optimal solutions.

Demonstrated experience with delivering web-based applications and dealing with the challenges of compatibility, scalability and performance

Demonstrated ability to generate precise and concise development metrics and measures of quality, and the ability to project, track, assess and report on adherence to these metrics

Technical proficiency includes Java, J2EE, Struts, Taglibs, SQL, XML and Unix
