HotelTonight builds the world's best (in our humble opinion!) mobile apps for booking same-day hotel deals. Our team is passionate about delivering a flawless customer experience as we play matchmaker between people who need a hotel and otherwise-empty hotel rooms. We're funded by top-tier investors and people really love us.

We set aggressive goals and work hard to crush them, but we make time to decompress, whether it's a ping pong throw down or hosting an impromptu happy hour at one of our partner hotels' lobby bars. The Role

At HotelTonight, design is something that we care about deeply and is core to our efforts to provide superior solutions and memorable experiences. We're looking for a UI/UX designer who has experience with mobile design and who shares our passion for stunning and practical products that earn raves from our peers and customers. While we'll want you to do some ideating, we'll mostly need you to roll up your sleeves and spend the majority of your time doing hands-on design work on our mobile app.

You Will

  • Conceptualize and Create iconic, memorable visual design and interaction that is usable - things that others will want to emulate - while keeping our products true to our values of simplicity, beauty and utility;

  • Work on a team with 2 other mobile designers while staying hands-on and directly involved in the design process.
    • Our Ideal Candidate Has:

    • A portfolio with gorgeous mobile design work, ideally on both the iOS and Android platforms;

  • A strong opinion, yet able to have open, direct, and respectful conversations about other points of view;
    • A passion for mobile products and ideally travel;

  • Experience using analytics, focus groups, experiments, and/or other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on features.
